feels like sudden laughter

Went to Changi Airport with Shana for a cam-whoring session today. *Sigh* Seeing people go through the departure gates makes me want to go overseas as well, even though I get all nervous and break out in cold sweat whenever the plane takes off / lands.

Ohkily-dohkily. We took lots of embarrassing and stupid photos. Thank god nobody in the airport reported us to the security ... Imagine that : "There seems to be 2 drug-crazed teenagers seating at the viewing mall, pretending that they're *shudders* aliens"

Do read Shana's blog. Click the below image to her blog.

And yesterday my family went for a buffet to celebrate my Grandmother's birthday.

Look at my mum's smug face. Makes me laugh.

The Barbarian & me.
I'm convinced that my hair is shorter than his, though his fringe is more sparse than mine.

My baby cousin, Nicole.
Seriously, she should be called Victoria.

Bartholomew Jojo

My heartbeat's faster than that a normal teenger's.
People aren't supposed to go on a diet just because they think they're fat. I know some people might say "Pfft, but that's what a fat girl with no self-discipline would say" But seriously? ... "You're the weaker one who's being brainwashed by the media"
I don't know why I'm typing down all this. Guess I'm just weird.

These few days, I've been craving to go out to get some chunky white heels. And I'm going to Changi Airport tomorrow with Shana for a camwhore session again.
*Sigh* Yeah, we're the Polytechnic students who haven't started school ... ...

barefoot on wicked stone, no light

Was watching this Japanese drama serial and the ending is so fucking sad. So fucking saaaadddd! (No, it's not the typical kind which someone dies of leukaemia)
This is so weird and so unlike me to get so affected by some stupid sad show, when I don't even know the exact name of this show.

Note to self : Must let Felicia watch this show, and watch her cry.

until the end, until the end

Shana asked me out for a picnic at Marina Bay today, when we got there, the SMRT personnel told us that Marina City Park has already been removed ... 2 years ago. So we decided to go to ... for a picnic as well as to take act cool shots.

Love Shana's straw hat.
Shana : Probably from my dad's Penang days.

If you're thinking why did I wear a blazer to a picnic, the reason was that : The east side may be really sultry hot, but the west side started raining (With the Sun still shining. So ridiculous) when I got out of the house. Well, damn you, crazy weather.

Yup, after our people-watching session, we went to get magazines and Shana shrieked when she saw a picture of Pete Wentz, Jared Leto, oh, and also a picture of this guy / girl.

Shana : Eh, is this a guy or a girl?
Eliz : Uh ... Looks like a boy.
Shana : Ok, how about you put a poll in your blog and ask people to vote.

I've got a picture of that person in my hand phone, but I thought I'd better not put it, cause it's really really mean. :O

i am not my long lost twin

Met up with Felicia and Jiayi today. Shana wasn't able to make it as today was her first day of work at Curious Cookies (Or something with the initials C.C.) It was so weird with Shana missing, though it would have been pretty tiring for Shana to travel from the East to the West just to meet us for a cup of coffee.

"My Apple Ring don't have hole one"

Jiayi felt pretty scammed when she realised that 2 of her "Apple Rings" didn't have holes and it didn't look like rings.
I hope Shana's first day of work wasn't as bad as when she was working at *BLEEP*, where the managers didn't care about her existence.

marching to the sea

I wrote your name upon the back of my hand
Slept upon it, then I woke up with it backwards on my face
Reading forward from my mirror to my heart.

I'm figuring out how to style my really short crop, and at the same time, checking out the web cam on my laptop. Ah, I look like a boy at some angles.

Imitating a Gwen Stefani fringe.

Imitating a P!nk.

I was thinking of dyeing a different colour on my fringe, like say, red or bleach it blonde. I know black is cool, but the fact that almost everyone in Singapore is born with black hair makes things so boring.
Oh, by the way, I found this :

Agyness Deyn likes Horrors??!?!?
(I want that Horror shirt too, damn!)

I'm bored.

Monday, 23 March 2009

yes, carolina?

Homer : Ohhh, I hate folding sheets.
Marge : That's your underwear.

Shana and I went to Orchard for our haircuts and then to Vivocity for F21.
At first I was a little hesitant about getting a haircut, until I saw a picture of a girl with really short hair at some random on-line clothing store and I was like, "Argh, might as well take a risk" and besides, I'm kind of sick of my stupid mushroom.

Shana with super neat, smooth and cool hair.

I changed the side of the fringe, cause it looks thicker on this side.

Now I hope that my fringe grows thicker and longer. Grow, fringe, grow.

new fear will catch us unaware

Rhys Webb's new hairstyle makes him look like a fashion designer, and Joshua Von Grimm has the mushroom head which covers 3/4 of his face, leaving only his mouth visible. Plus, Rhys and Tomethy swapped instruments.

Print screened from the video, thus the lousy image quality.

I've been watching runway videos and reading fashion blogs and drawing random bloody stuff these few days, while looking for inspiration for the next dress I'm going to sew. I've got some grey cotton cloth and some black and white striped cloth, so, now ... ...

Looks like a cover of a book, no? I intend to fill up the whole drawing block with more blood, horror puppets, tentacles of my favourite animal and crows / vultures.

as i curse my slow limbs

I've changed my layout again. It's based on the lyrics of "She Is The New Thing" and the visuals are inspired by David Lupton's illustration in the video, as well as Grimheart (Absolutely no link to Von Grimm whatsoever)

Doodles and planning for the layout.

Things would be so much easier and beautiful if I had a tablet.
I want a tablet so badly. D:

Ok, and I want to fangirl a little, since my stupid MSN doesn't run right now ... THE HORRORS ARE BACK WITH A NEW ALBUM. I JUST CHECKED MY E-MAIL!
Must. Get. New. Album.

'scuse me while i miss the sky

Aye Carumba!
The dress is done, and I have to admit that most of the sewing is done by my grandmother because my grandmother says : I'd better do it. You will (I wonder what makes her so sure) spoil the dress
Uh well, then again, practise makes perfect.
Note to self : Buy cheapskate cotton.

Met the clique yesterday at the Singapore Conference Hall, cause its seems that the CO is having some pre-SYF rehearsal there. Good luck to SCCO for their upcoming SYF :)

Then Jiayi and I went to Shana's new house at Tanah Merah, which was so cool and stuff, though the colour of the room made us sleepy and stone-ish. Haha. After that, we headed to Shana's friend's band competition, which was a really cool event, plus, Shana's friend's band won! Wowzers, so cool.

God, I love this picture.

Note to self : Transfer copies of The Horrors images onto laptop.

running like nosebleed danger

And I think its crazy how looking at Horrors video / pictures can put me in a great mood (Yes, I remember that quote we used when we fangirl over the Kaulitzes, Shana)
Then again, maybe it's just the sugar rush from the sweet drink I had.

So I'm here again, thinking of what to put here when I open up this tab, because my mind's really in random mode now. Like. This.

Hehheh, what a good excuse to put pictures on my blog.

I bought lace from this shop and the first time I went there I called the lady "Aunty" (BAD MOVE) and she charged me like $8+ for two metres of lace, and the second time I went there again, I called her "Miss" and she charged me like lesser than 5 bucks.
What a weird experience.

what the horrors

Every time I login to Blogger, I'd start browsing through random stuff on another tab, and when I come back to this tab again, I'd forget what I was going to write.

Shana & I went to the Salvation Army today and we managed to thrift some second hand clothes there. I saw many cheap second hand sewing machines there as well, and I'm thinking of getting a serger, so my seams will be more durable and my dresses will look more professional.

*Ahem* Like I was saying, Shana & I went to the Salvation Army.
So, Shana salvaged a nice Faris-inspired jacket and a granny skirt. I got a granny skirt too, and man, will it look horrible with high-cut Chucks! And the granny skirt only cost me 5 bucks! :D

Happy Josh looking at the poster which happy Tom is handing out.

"So which one's Josh?"
"The biggest hair, the blonde fringe and also those white shoes"
And don't I hate it when I wake up before The Horrors give me their autographs.

Too well dressed for the witness stand

I'm so fucking bored, and my grandmother's watching some television programme. I don't want to interrupt by asking her to help me with my dress. This is so going nowhere, because I'm just pushing the sewing date later and later. I'llhatemyselfforthis.

And tomorrow is my mother's birthday, which means I'll be spending the whole day with her, so it's equivalent to not being able to finish the god damn dress. It's not like I don't enjoy spending time with my mum, but I get really fed-up when I don't finish my stupid sewing. Ok, now I feel like tearing my hair off, just because I'm unable to finish the dress before my stupid lame deadline which I've given myself. God, I'llreallyhatemyselfforthis.

And the worst part of it all? I get really inspired by these designers, but I have no time to start on a new project until I've finish my current ones.
Fuckingdamnit. I've been moody lately.

shoulders, collarbones, crushing

Shopping / long lunching with Shana & Felicia yesterday (I realised I haven't seen Jiayi in a long-long time) We need to meet up another day again, kiddos.

Shana : Why is that girl sitting with her legs opened so big??
Eliz : Girl? He's obviously a boy.
Shana : But it's wearing a skirt!
Eliz : A skirt? It's a kilt.
Shana : Are you trying to trick me again?
Eliz : No. And why do you call the person "it"?

Heres a picture of Felicia looking like an anime character

And heres one of Felicia looking like ... ...

Everyone says "WTF??"

Haha, Felicia is the only person I know who can look like an elf with hair like this, cause it is really easy to go wrong and look like this ... ...

Lord Hagen

Attended some random wedding buffet lunch at some chalet at Downtown East, and then my father brought the family to Terminal 3. Random, but it does makes me feel like going overseas again, even though I have a phobia of the plane taking off and landing. Makes me nervous. I'm a nervous-wreck.

Ok, I need to fangirl alittle.

%#$!$%&$%!$&!!!!!
Von Grimm on the microphones!!

the television buzzes & crackles & preaches

Back with lots of looooooot.
(The adult fare is killing me already. Damn it)

I bought lots of fabric and a ball of yarn. Haha, I wanted to try out the Needless Knitting trick, cause they made it seem so easy to knit a scarf without needles.

Oh, and I forget to post my newborn cousin's photo in the previous post.

Her name's Nicole, though I think that my uncle should call her Victoria instead, because then it would compliment my name. Elizabeth & Victoria. Haha. Nicole, nicole, nicole, kidman.

Note to self : Do pre-enrolment today ... And watch The Simpsons
